Maytag: The Smart Laundry Assistant
Maytag is a free lifestyle app developed by Whirlpool Corporation that allows you to control and monitor your Maytag® Smart Washer or Dryer from anywhere using your Android device. With remote start, cycle notifications, and laundry scheduling, Maytag makes laundry day more efficient, giving you more time to focus on what truly matters.
The app also features troubleshooting tips and personalized smart tips to help you power through laundry, as well as a stain guide with steps to tackle everyday tough stains. You can even assign tasks and send customized texts to family members to keep laundry moving. Additionally, you can create and save customized cycles as favorites, and access additional cycles like activewear and sleeping bags on select models.
Please note that some mobile devices and operating systems may not be supported, and a 2.4GHz router is required. Maytag requires location and Bluetooth permissions to connect to your appliance, and optional camera and notification permissions to enable additional app features.
